Consultations for Tattooing


We Are By Appointment Only


If you are wanting to book a tattoo we do all of our tattoo consultations via email.  In person consultations are available for larger projects(sleeves, back pieces, etc.) if necessary to convey your idea better.   Angela handles most of the consultation process to allow Dave more time to draw up/conceptualize people’s ideas for their tattoos.  All consultations are free!

Dave loves to tattoo all kinds of styles but his main preferences are horror themed tattoos, Japanese and other Asian- inspired tattoos, neo-traditional, video game, comic book, or manga/anime inspired imagery.  Dave is a custom artist and prefers to tattoo his own designs.  You are more than welcome to show him images for reference of styles that you like.  If your picture will help convey your tattoo plans better or to provide an idea for your inspiration you may include it in your email during the consultation process.  Dave will not copy another artist’s tattoos and prefers to draw up each design custom with the idea in mind that each piece will be unique in design and application every time.

Dave does not accept every tattoo request.  This isn’t meant to insult anyone or indicate that their tattoo ideas are bad.  We will do our best to respond to everyone in a timely manner.  Make sure that you check your spam folders!

Scheduling


The length of a tattoo appointment depends on the size, placement, and complexity of your design. 


If you are getting a larger tattoo done it is recommended that you book as many sessions as Dave might estimate is needed to complete it; or what fits within your budget.  This is to reduce wait time before booking more sessions as well as to finish projects within a timely manner.  That being said tattoos are a luxury and often times life can throw us a few curve balls that require more time between sessions.  If more time is needed between appointments we are happy to do our best to accommodate for everyone’s comfort and needs to the best of our ability.


Deposits


All deposits are non-refundable.  No exceptions.


Once the consultation process is complete and we have discussed your project you will be sent an email requesting a deposit to book your appointments.  This is to ensure that you are taking the tattooing process seriously and that you are respecting our time as much as we are respecting yours.

A deposit is required for all bookings, which is applied to the cost of the final session of the tattoo.  All deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable and are rendered forfeit under the following circumstances:  48 hours notice is not given prior to a cancellation or re-booking, extreme tardiness, the agreed upon idea for the tattoo is altered significantly, the client does not take proper skin care(ie sunburns), prior to tattooing or 2 or more re-scheduled appointments.  If a client does not show for their appointment without communicating with us prior, their deposit will be forfeited and a new one will be required to keep or book further appointments.
